• The software update will add a new feature to the VW ID.4 known as Auto Hold. Once you bring your vehicle to a complete stop, you will be able to take your foot off the brake and Auto Hold will keep your ID.4 from rolling forward. You can choose to deactivate this feature if it doesn’t benefit you.
• The ID.Cockpit digital display will show more information once the software update has been made. Drivers will be able to see remaining range, percentage of battery, current drive mode (Eco, Sport, Traction, Comfort, or Custom). A trip computer will also be added in.
• Finally, the software update will make security improvements, fix minor bugs, and improve the performance and user experience of the infotainment system.
